I am an independent researcher, writer and musician. Below you’ll find some more context on my work and interests.

I entered crypto full time in 2021 with an interest in decentralized autonomous organizations and online community, which I conducted interview-based research into as part of Other Internet and independently. I subsequently contributed to major NFT and DeFi projects in an operational capacity. My writing on accountability in crypto culture was published in Zora Zine.

I have produced texts for a range of visual artists exploring economic and technological themes, in addition to my own writing on online aesthetic subcultures. My collaborations with artists and essays on aesthetics have been featured in TANK magazine, Highsnobiety and Frieze.

I previously worked as one of the maintainers of Trust, a shared space in Berlin and an online community hosted on a Discord server. In this role, I developed two voice and chat-based formats for our server members to share and learn together, and participated in the development of experimental livestreamed formats. I also contributed to Hivemind, a knowledge game that allows for narrative-led walkthroughs of artist’s back-end working environments. My work at Trust and on Hivemind was covered in Novembre and Spike Art Magazine.

From 2019-2021, I shared my personal research into heterodox ecological economics and the degrowth movement with a wider audience through online lectures as part of my research residency at Trust. I also gave guest lectures for art, architecture and design students at ETH Zurich, the University of Fine Arts Hamburg, Prosjektskolen Kunstskole Oslo, the Berlin University of the Arts and the Technical University of Berlin. I also spoke at 3HD festival, transmediale and featured on the Future Histories podcast. My writing on the topic of degrowth was featured in Kunstforum, Uneven Earth and as part of the German Pavilion at the 17th Venice Biennale of Architecture and its reader 2038: The New Serenity, published by Sorry Press.
